Implementation of the Amended Fisheries Act in Ontario

The OWA, in collaboration with Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Central and Arctic Region, is pleased to host a one day workshop on Tuesday March 24th focused on the implementation of the amended Fisheries Act in Ontario. 

Areas to be discussed include:

• An Overview of the Changes to the Fisheries Act and Policies;
• The Modernization of the Fish and Fish Habitat Protection Program
• An Overview of Online System and the Regulatory Review Process (i.e. when to submit, how to complete the forms etc.)
• The Identification of Codes of Practice
