TNE was established in 2002 to continue the practice of providing consulting and advisory services to the Independent Power Producer (“IPP”) community. Since then, TNE and staff have been providing technical and financial due diligence/Independent Engineering (“IE”) reviews for renewable energy projects for the last 20 years. As a specialist entity, TNE provides consulting/advisory services with respect to project financing (Independent Engineering), lender’s audits, loan guarantee assessments, project valuations and IPOs, and technical audits of purchased facilities. Within the sector, TNE has worked across Canada for provincial and federal government agencies, financial institutions (including commercial banks and investment banks), insurance companies, pension funds, IPPs, First Nations and has performed due diligence on more than 60 renewable energy projects in Canada. TNE has offices in Ontario and British Columbia.
