Mavel Americas, Inc. is the USA-based subsidiary of Mavel, a.s. (“Mavel”) and oversees the companies operations in the Americas. Mavel was founded in 1990 and specializes in the design and production of Kaplan, Pelton, Francis and micro turbines and related equipment for hydroelectric power plants up to 30+ MW. With two production facilities in the Czech Republic, the company has delivered over 400 turbines over the past 20 years to countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas. In 2012, Mavel had 30 projects underway, including 10 in the Americas.
